Prakash Patel, a passionate digitalist with over 20 years of international and local marketing experience has worked at some of the largest global network agencies and private agencies. His experience includes Strategic Planning, Integrated (online and off-line), CRM/eCRM Communication Programs, Website and Database Design & Build, Data Planning through to setting up his own company back in late 90’s. By 2001, Patel and his team were amongst one of the first global agencies that provided true integrated marketing solutions for clients such as Mercedes Benz, Bentley Motors and HSBC. Prior to joining Prezence, Patel successfully set up award winning MESH (DraftFCB digital & experiential agency) in 2010 as MD/CDO. In his new role as CEO of Prezence Digital, Patel will continue to help grow the digital footprint locally, in Africa and abroad with CTO Tim Bishop.
With more than 16 years in the online and mobile industry, Tim Bishop spearheaded Prezence Digital UK’s expansion into South Africa in 2002 to become one of the country’s leading online and mobile creative agencies and branded interactive mobile technology experts. Bishop’s focus is ‘mobile for the masses’ and has been instrumental in high profile mobile web and application developments, brand strategy and enhanced user experiences throughout Africa. Passionate about ‘mobilising’ properly rather than just ‘miniaturising’, Bishop presents at high profile International and local conferences and judges for multiple global mobile awards. When it comes to making the impossible possible on the small screen in Africa, Bishop will more than likely be behind it.
Last, but not least, Christine da Silva is bound to inspire with her experience and creativity. Da Silva is a well respected online marketing strategist famed for her result-orientated techniques and assisting clients to gain maximum value from digital marketing campaigns. Da Silva’s personal passion is search engine marketing which she has actively been practising for around ten years. Commencing her career in the fields of marketing, graphic and web design and later web development, she turned her focus to search engines early on. The skills she had gained through her career in marketing, design and web development further helped to solidify her career as a Search Engine Marketing expert.
Her expertise in innovative marketing solutions led her to become a pioneer of custom, results-driven campaigns which harnessed the often ignored potential offered by the online space. Da Silva advocates holistic marketing methodologies and techniques that focus on improving a brand as a whole and websites where close attention is paid to usability, functionality, conversion psychology and general digital presence.
