For those who know me, know that I cannot survive one day without my Blackberry and the Internet. If you can have five conversations at once (via Skype, Facebook chat, bbm, e-mail and sms), then you can relate. I am utterly addicted to my cell phone and cannot leave home without it.
Technology has made such a life changing impact on (me and) millions of people all over the globe with the development of the smartphone and the tablet pc. Who wouldn’t want a portable device that combines all the functions of a cell phone and a computer? We love the fact that we can update our contacts and calendar, access our email and social networks from our smart phones, as well as do business on the go. Everything is so simple and effective with these amazing devices.
A recent study conducted by Deloitte illustrates that the sales of smartphones and tablet pcs will out number personal computer sales this year. Stats show that “425 million smartphones and tablet pcs will be sold worldwide this year compared to 380 million desktop pcs.”
Let’s face it. The smartphone and tablet pc revolution is upon us and the sooner you get into the swing of it, the better. They have become the most frequently used devices in the world. There are so many opportunities that await you.
