Rumour has it that the much anticipated next-generation Apple iPad, commonly known as the iPad 2 (one of the most talked about devices) is due to be released in April 2011. Over the past few days I’ve encountered so many reviews about the iPad 2 with all these awesome features (not sure how many of theme will become a reality).
Rumoured features include:
The iPad 2 will have front and rear facing cameras
There will be no retina display (display will have a higher and better resolution)
The screen will be less reflective (this will work to your advantage when reading on the beach)
It will be thinner and lighter (you can load your SD card into it)
It will get and SD slot
There’s a chance that it might be cheaper than the previous iPad (wishful thinking)
These rumours can become a bit overwhelming at times. I know these functions sound amazing, but lets keep in mind that they are still rumours, not facts.
So lets move away from the rumours for a bit and enjoy some light-hearted humour. Apple has not officially announced the release date of the iPad 2 yet, however there is an official

eo review of the Apple product that has already received over 64 000 hits on YouTube.
I thought you would appreciate a different take on the next-generation iPad 2. This hilarious yet genius video was masterfully produced by Eskild Engeland Fors. If you watch this video you will immediately realize it is fake, so don’t get too excited about the features. This is by far one of the funniest home made videos I have ever seen. It’s brilliant. It features a giant iPad with awesome features such as a music function that automatically deletes bad music and self destructs when Justin Bieber music is loaded.
A photo editing function using voice command allows Fors to edit photos. In the video Fors edits a photo using the following words: “Mustache! Glasses! Pipe! Top Hat! African American!” It’s classic. Built in apps include and iFoodtray, iRemote and iMotivator.
This video comes highly recommended. It is a definite must see. Watch it and let me know what you think.
